Rural Roots Catering (RRC) provides full service catering and event planning. We can arrange all details from booking the band or DJ, arranging centre pieces, valet parking to our extensive rental selection of tents, tables, chairs etc. Or perhaps it is just the food and staffing service you require.
How Many to Invite?:
Is it an intimate, small gathering - or a grandiose affair of 250 or more? Rural Roots Catering can accommodate, and will work with you to make every event unique and personal.
Favorite Dish:
Should you have a favorite dish, prefer something not on our menu or have vegetarian or dietary needs, we can certainly accommodate your request. Dietary, vegetarian and children’s menu requirements are welcomed but advance notice is required.

Whether the venue you prefer is a private or a public banquet facility (choice of four in area-see venue list), or an intimate garden setting - Rural Roots Catering (RRC) will provide full service catering wherever you would like it. We can arrange all of the details or as much or as little as needed.

Marquee Tent Rental Specialists.
Thinking about an outdoor event? We provide Frame tents that do not require centre poles to maximize interior space or pole tents that have mid-point poles supporting the roof but offer a graceful slope to the roofline. Marquee tent prices vary depending on the number of guests, features requested and of course, what is to take place beneath them.
Frame Tents: Width - 10 ft increments, up to 40 ft Length - unrestricted
Pole Tents: Width - 10 ft increments, up to 60 ft Length - unrestricted
Minimum Space Requirements:
• Guest Seating - 12sq. ft per person
• Head Table - 20sq. ft per person
• Dance Floor - 3sq. ft per person
• Buffet Table (each 8ft) 100 sq.ft
• Bar: 100sq. ft each
• DJ (more for a band) 75sq.ft
Additional features available include: Twinkle lights, Ceiling drapes, Heating, Electrical 220 Power box or Generator hook up, Dance floor & Staging, Covered walkways, complete washroom facilities… the list is practically endless.
NOTE: We also arrange the rental of: tables, chairs (chair slip covers), table skirting, linen, glassware, cutlery and cooking equipment (if required). Please refer to the attached rental selection list.

MONO PARK PAVILION: Accommodates up to 150 guests. Located on the outskirts of Orangeville, at 633220 Hwy #10, the pavilion overlooks acres of natural parkland. The property itself is very picturesque.

ALTON MILL: Built in 1881, the Alton Mill is nestled on the banks of Shaw’s Creek in the Village of Alton , Town of Caledon, a 1/2 hour northwest of Toronto , Ontario . This wonderful 19th century stone mill complex is a provincially designated heritage property.
Millrace room (Studio B12 – 1,495sq.ft.) seats up to 80 people at 10-person round tables.
Waterfall Courtyard seats up to 40 people at 10-person round tables. Includes use of space only – tables, chairs, linens, marquee etc. to be rented separately.
Includes use of prep room and Waterfall Courtyard (weather permitting).
For artists who are tenants in the building only. Includes use of Waterfall Courtyard (weather permitting) but not prep room. Subject to availability only – full price booking that come in at least one month in advance will take priority.
