"The decision to hire Rural Roots catering was not an easy one. Having “rural roots” of my own – hiring a caterer was not something I had done before nor felt comfortable with. Sure they were fine for weddings, but a house party? I soon realized that if I were to feed 50 people, I needed help. This was a very special event, and I needed the best. Simply put, deciding to work with Chris and his team at Rural Roots was the best decision I could have made.

I went online and found the web site. Everything I could possibly need to know was all there. The menu selections looked delicious, very impressive. It sounded great, but, still the sceptic, I had one potential problem with choosing a company based out of Orangeville –the location of the event. When I contacted Chris, he ensured me that was not an issue. In fact, we had our first meeting at my home. From the beginning, I felt good about working with Chris. He went out of his way to make sure all the details were to my liking. When things weren’t convenient for me, he personally went out of his way to make sure everything was taken care of.

Yes, the food was amazing, but working with Rural Roots meant so much more than that. For the first time, I was able to really enjoy myself at my own party. This is all thanks to Chris and his team. It was a totally stress free night, because they took care of everything. I cannot think of one thing that could have been improved on. Chris is a very humble man – but he has no need to boast – his wizardry in the kitchen; attention to every detail; and wonderful staff speaks for themselves.

I would not hesitate to recommend Rural Roots and look forward to working with Chris again. I wish him every success in the future and I am quite confident that he will have many more “very satisfied” customers like myself."
